Charles D. Price Charles Price is a shareholder in Brouse McDowell’s Cleveland office and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Insurance Recovery Practice Groups. Over his eleven-year career, he has represented clients in Ohio and across the country in a variety of complex litigation matters, including contract, insurance coverage, product liability, environmental and advertising disputes.
Professional/Civic Activities Charlie is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan, American, and Ohio State Bar Associations, the American Society of Writers on Legal Subjects (Scribes), the Plain Language International Network, and the Legal Writing Institute. Since 2005, he has been a grader for the Ohio State Bar Examination (civil procedure and contract law). Additionally, he regularly volunteers his time in the Cleveland community.
Articles/Presentations He is also co-author of, “Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Act,” which was published in Inter Alia’s winter 2001 issue.
Representative Engagements - Representing commercial policyholders in litigation with their insurers, over hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance coverage, including litigation of “bad faith” claims.
- Litigating multi-million dollar products liability lawsuits involving design and manufacturing defects involving industrial machinery, home
appliances, and other consumer products. - Representing corporations regarding issues involving fax advertising and alleged deceptive advertising practices, privacy issues, and
litigation involving the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act. - Representing companies in class action litigation in state and federal court for consumer product complaints.
