Timothy D. Wood Before passing the bar in 1972, Tim worked for about ten (10) years in private industry in various manufacturing and human resource management positions. This background gives Tim a unique practical perspective in representing public and private clients in labor and employment matters, particularly in counseling employers on employment policies, discipline and employee benefit issues.
He has represented large and small employers throughout the United States in union avoidance, representation elections, collective bargaining, labor arbitration, wage and hour issues, all types of employment discrimination matters (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA), enforcement of employment and non-compete agreements and wrongful discharge actions. He has practiced before the NLRB, EEOC, U.S. Department of Labor (Wage & Hour and Office Federal Contract Compliance, OSHA) State Fair Employment Practice agencies and the Federal and State Courts.
Professional/Civic Activities Tim's activities include serving as president of the homeowners' association of The Pines at Chautauqua. He has served on the board of the Hillcrest YMCA as president, has also served as an officer of the Cleveland Opera League and is a member and volunteer for both the Chautauqua Opera Guild and the Church of the Covenant.

- Involved in matters with numerous unions, i.e. Firefighters, Fraternal Order of Police, ASFCME, UFCW, Teamsters, UAW, URW, USW, IAM, SEIU, Chemical Workers, UNITE and PACE.
- Successfully represented numerous employers in concession bargaining and represented a very large employer group before the U.S. Congress pertaining to Federal Labor Law legislation.
