Amanda M. Leffler Amanda is focusing her practice in the area of business and commercial litigation, including insurance recovery actions, breach of contract, tortious conduct in the commercial setting, employment litigation, real estate disputes and corporate disputes. In addition, Amanda arbitrates and mediates commercial and business disputes.
Amanda was most recently recognized as a 2009 '30 for the Future' Young Professional by the Greater Akron Chamber and was featured as one of 15 up-and-coming Northeast Ohio attorneys under the age of 40, in the June 2009 issue of Inside Business. She was also selected as a 2009 and 2010 Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star in a peer- and achievement-based review by Law and Politics Magazine.
Professional/Civic Activities Amanda is a barrister member of the Scanlon Inn of Court and also serves as Vice President/President-Elect and member of the University of Akron Law Alumni Board of Trustees. She is a member of Torchbearers and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Child Guidance & Family Solutions.
Amanda is a member of the Ohio State, American and Federal Bar Associations. She is a member of the Akron Bar Association and Vice-Chair of the Law Week Committee. She is also a fellow of the Akron Bar Association Foundation.
