Amanda M. Leffler
Amanda practices in the area of business and commercial litigation, and has substantial experience in litigating insurance recovery actions for policyholders, as well as actions involving breach of contract, tortious conduct in the commercial setting, employment disputes, and corporate or shareholder disputes.

Amanda was recognized as a 2009 '30 for the Future' Young Professional by the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce and was featured as one of 15 up-and-coming Northeast Ohio attorneys under the age of 40, in the June 2009 issue of Inside Business. She was also selected from 2009 - 2012 as a Rising Star in a peer- and achievement-based review by Law and Politics Magazine.

Amanda is AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rated through Martindale-Hubbell.


Professional/Civic Activities
Amanda has served on various boards, including Mobile Meals foundation, Inc. and the University of Akron School of Law Alumni Board of Trustees. She currently serves on the board of Torchbearers, a young professionals' organization in Akron, and as a board member for Child Guidance & Family Solutions. Amanda is also a member of the Junior League of Akron and Christ Child Society of Akron.

Amanda is very active in the state, local and national bar associations. She is a Member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the 2011 OSBA Leadership Academy, and is a part of OSBA's Insurance Law Committee. Amanda is a member of the American Bar Association and is currently co-chair of the Employment Sub-committee of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the ABA's Section of Litigation. She is a member of the Federal Bar Association and of the Akron Bar Association, where she currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. Amanda is also a fellow of the Akron Bar Association Foundation and a barrister member of the Scanlon Inn of Court.
