Nicholas P. Capotosto Nick represents businesses and individuals involved in a variety of disputes, concerning contracts, trade secrets, real estate, commercial and residential construction, workers’ compensation, products liability and will contests. He has extensive experience representing clients in mediation and arbitration. After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, Nick served in the U.S. Air Force and attained the rank of Captain. He gained valuable experience in government contracting by serving as a contract administrator and administrative contracting officer. Nick was responsible for administering contracts in excess of $1.5B and managed source selections involving companies such as Rockwell, Raytheon, Boeing and General Electric. Nick separated from the Air Force to attend law school and joined Brouse McDowell upon receiving his degree.
Professional/Civic Activities Nick is a member of the Akron, Ohio State and American Bar Associations. He is a member of the board of directors for Tarry House, Inc., a member of the Charles F. Scanlon Inn of Court and has been a member of the Road Runner Akron Marathon Course Committee since the marathon’s inception.
