Elizabeth G. Yeargin Libby is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Commercial practice groups. Libby’s practice is focused on transactional work, principally in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, finance and general corporate law.
Professional/Civic Activities Libby is a member of the Akron Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She also serves as chair of the University of Akron Liaison Committee of the Akron Bar Association, running an attorney/law student mentor program as well as coordinating seminars and professional roundtable discussions.
From the fall of 2005 through the spring of 2009, Libby served as an adjunct professor at The University of Akron School of Law, teaching Legal Analysis, Research and Writing to first-year law students.
Libby was the Editor-in-Chief of the Akron Law Review in 2004-2005. She serves as a pacesetter for the Road Runner Akron Marathon.
Representative Engagements Libby has been involved in significant merger, acquisition and/or divestiture work and has also assisted clients with other general corporate and commercial matters.
