Michael G. Van Buren Michael is concentrating his practice in the area of Health Care Law. He served as Editor-in-Chief of Health Matrix: Journal of Law-Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Law and also received a Distinguished Scholar Award Scholarship.
Professional/Civic Activities Michael is a member of the Scanlon Inn of Court and serves on the Volunteer Hospice Committee of the Akron Bar Association, which provides volunteer legal services to hospice patients and their family members. Michael also serves on the Alumni Association Board of Western Reserve Academy. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, as well as the Akron, American, Cleveland Metropolitan and Ohio State Bar Associations.
