Daniel K. Glessner Dan is chair of the Health Care Practice Group. His practice is focused on general corporate and health care issues for an array of clients throughout the health care industry. Prior to joining Brouse McDowell in 2008, Dan served as in-house counsel with Akron General Health System for 15 years. He has provided counsel on a myriad of health care and corporate issues, including tax exempt issues, reimbursement, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, health care regulatory issues including Stark Self-Referral Regulations and the Anti-Kickback Statute, medical staff and licensure issues, employment, general contracting and real estate transactions.
Professional/Civic Activities Dan is an active member of the Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America, Great Trail Council, Hattie Larlham and MedPro Credit Union. He has participated as a board member in various community non-profit and professional organizations, including the Cleveland Bar Association Health Care Council, the Society of Healthcare Attorneys and the Akron Jaycees. Dan is also an adjunct professor at The University of Akron College of Law where he teaches health care law. Currently, Dan is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve with over nineteen years of service.

- Counsel to physician group practices including practice acquisitions, regulatory guidance, strategic planning and daily operational issues.
