Malisheia O. Douglas
Malisheia joined Brouse McDowell in the fall of 2008 and is developing her practice in the area of Intellectual Property Law.

Prior to pursuing her law degree, Malisheia worked as a Polymer Process Research Engineer at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and as a Finishing Process Engineer at Buckeye Cellulose Corporation.

While studying law at the University of Akron, she clerked at a local Akron law firm and interned at the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office, Civil Division.

Malisheia was Articles Editor for the Law Review Editorial Board and the Executive Editor of the Intellectual Property Law Journal Editorial Board. She was the recipient of the Akron Bar Foundation Scholarship for 2005 through 2008 and was also recognized as a Women in Higher Education, Outstanding Woman Scholar and Outstanding Law Student at The University of Akron School of Law.
