John P. Hickey John represents debtors, trade creditors, statutory committees, and equity stakeholders in complex commercial bankruptcy cases and related litigation, and represents debtors, creditors, receivers, and prospective investors in foreclosures, receiverships, workouts, and other non-bankruptcy insolvency and restructuring proceedings. John also advises businesses on a wide range of commercial transactions and represents businesses in commercial disputes with vendors, lenders, competitors, and customers. Before joining Brouse McDowell in 2009, John served as a law clerk for the Honorable Russ Kendig of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Professional/Civic Activities
John sits on the Banking, Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Committee and on the Bankruptcy Law Subcommittee of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association and Torchbearers.
