Lisa S. Del Grosso
Lisa focuses her practice in the area of commercial and business litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts in a variety of disputes, including Uniform Commercial Code litigation, trade secret litigation, business torts, unfair competition, false advertising and Lanham Act claims, breach of contract and promissory estoppel actions, product liability defense, and insurance recovery actions. In addition, Lisa counsels clients on litigation avoidance, document retention obligations, and arbitrates and mediates commercial and business disputes for firm clients. Lisa also acts as general counsel to the firm, providing legal advice on all firm-related legal matters.
Prior to joining Brouse McDowell, Lisa served for two years as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Clair E. Dickinson in the Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals.
Professional/Civic Activities
Lisa is a member of the Akron, Ohio State and American Bar Associations and has been a long-term member of the Scanlon Inn of Court. Lisa is a Fellow of the Akron Bar Foundation, has been recognized as a 2005 and 2006 Ohio SuperLawyers Rising Star, and was appointed by the Ohio Supreme Court in 2006 to serve as a mentor to newly admitted lawyers.

- Represented several plaintiffs in actions to protect trade secrets and enjoin former employees' use of corporate trade secrets; successfully obtained injunctions for clients.
- Represent plaintiffs in ongoing environmental insurance recovery litigation.
- Defended major appliance manufacturer against negligence and strict product liability claims.
- Obtained summary judgment for business client, as plaintiff, on breach of commercial contract claim.
- Successfully defended UCC product defect and breach of warranty claims.
- Represent manufacturer of telephone systems against claims of Uniform Commercial Code violations.
- Advise clients on document retention obligations, particularly as it relates to electronic discovery.
