Brouse McDowell attorney Shelby Ranier will be the featured guest speaker for the webinar “PPP Loan Forgiveness and Key Consideration” hosted by the City of Akron, ArtsNow, and Akron Community Foundation on Wednesday, May 27 at 12:00 PM (EST).
Shelby will offer guidance and resources available to ensure a successful use of PPP funds. The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on payroll. The SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest or utilities.
