Dan Glessner Comments on Post-Pandemic Changes in Law Firms in Crain's Cleveland Article
October 26, 2020
When COVID hit, organizations turned their attention to setting up employees for remote work and then planning when and how their offices could reopen safely. Now, it appears many changes are here to stay.
Brouse’s Managing Partner, Daniel Glessner, along with managing partners from other Northeast Ohio law firms, provided their perspective for Crain’s Cleveland Business on these lasting changes. In the article “COVID fallout includes more remote work, less travel for law professionals,” they cite an increase in remote working and hybrid work schedules, the use of swing workspaces, a decrease in required travel, and fewer brick and mortar office locations. Dan notes, “I think the key to this whole situation is reacting appropriately.” Further, he says virtual meetings ‘“will not fully replace human interactions by any means,’ especially when it comes to building trusted relationships between law firms and their clients.”
