Jennifer Himmelein Receives John and Ginny Elam Pro Bono Award

November 3, 2020

Partner Jennifer Himmelein was awarded the John and Ginny Pro Bono Award by the Ohio State Bar Foundation. The award recognizes an attorney for his/her exceptional pro bono legal work.

Jennifer has worked with the Pro Se and Pro Se “Plus” Divorce Clinics for nearly a decade. These clinics help nearly 200 individuals annually who are seeking a simple divorce but do not have the financial means. The programs are in partnership with CMBA, The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and the Cleveland Law Library. Jennifer has been working to improve the clinics and best serve the community, and she works with staff at the Domestic Relations Court to ensure the program addresses the court’s needs.

OSBF President Mark Kitrick notes, “The Foundation applauds Jennifer for her ongoing, passionate work that betters the lives of those in Northeast Ohio.”
