Brouse McDowell Wins Appeal for Westlake Manufacturer

Last week, Brouse McDowell obtained a win on appeal for its client, Iconic Labs, against a plaintiff who claimed he was a partner and entitled to half the client’s profits. The plaintiff argued he was a partner pursuant to an oral agreement. The appellate court agreed with the trial court and held there was insufficient evidence of an agreement or other conduct demonstrating a partnership.
