Attorney Amanda Leffler Receives Ohio State Bar Association Award

Brouse McDowell, LPA, a leading regional law firm, is proud to announce that partner Amanda M. Leffler received the Ohio State Bar Foundation Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under at the Ohio State Bar Association District 11 annual luncheon meeting, which recently took place at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, Ohio.

The Ohio State Bar Foundation Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under is presented each year to one attorney in each of the Ohio State Bar Association’s 18 districts who has contributed substantial time and effort to a local service or a civic, artistic or cultural organization. The award recipients must represent the ideals of the legal profession and provide their services outside of their legal practice and without compensation. Leffler was chosen from the pool of applicable candidates in District 11, which boasts 1,475 members who practice in Summit and Portage counties.

She serves as co-chair of Brouse McDowell’s Litigation Practice Group and is certified as a Specialist in Insurance Coverage Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. Leffler focuses her practice on Insurance Recovery and is experienced in both the negotiation of claim resolution and the prosecution of coverage cases against insurers who have denied claims.

Leffler was named to Ohio Super Lawyers® 2014 and maintains a Martindale Hubbell® rating of AV Preeminent™.

She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law and her Bachelors of Art degree from the University of Toledo.

Leffler resides in Akron, Ohio with her husband [Daniel] and two children [Abigail and Avery].
