Brouse McDowell Attorney Jeffrey T. Heintz Receives The University of Akron School of Law Outstanding Alumni Award

Brouse McDowell, LPA, a leading regional law firm, is proud to announce that immediate past managing partner, Jeffrey T. Heintz received The University of Akron School of Law Outstanding Alumni Award during the annual Alumni Awards and Class Reunion Dinner, which took place on May 16, 2014 at the Quaker Square Inn in Akron, Ohio.

The Outstanding Alumni Award is annually presented by The University of Akron’s Law Alumni Association to one or more graduates of The University of Akron School of Law who have made an important contribution to or provided extraordinary service in the legal profession and The University of Akron School of Law.

Jeff focuses his practice on corporate counseling, commercial transactions, litigation, bankruptcy and creditors' rights, and real estate. He represents clients in the manufacturing, construction, and real estate industries.  He was named to Cleveland’s Legal Leaders™ Top Rated Lawyer in Bankruptcy and General Practice 2013 and Ohio Super Lawyers® 2008-2014. Additionally, he maintains a Martindale Hubbell® rating of AV Preeminent™.

He received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Akron School of Law and his Bachelors of Art degree from Ohio University. Jeff resides in Silver Lake, Ohio, where he is a member of the village planning committee. He also serves on the board of directors of North Akron Savings Bank and is involved with the Bluecoats, a nonprofit organization supporting safety force.
