Brouse McDowell Announces Recently Elected Executive Committee Members

Brouse McDowell, a leading regional business law firm, is pleased to congratulate Nicholas P. Capotosto and Patricia A. Gajda, recently elected as members of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Elected for his inaugural term on the Executive Committee, Nick Capotosto is a partner in the Litigation practice group working out of the Akron office. He represents businesses and individuals involved in a variety of disputes, concerning contracts, trade secrets, real estate matters, and probate and estate litigation. Nick is a member of the Akron, Ohio State and American Bar Associations, the board of directors for Tarry House, Inc., a member of the Charles F. Scanlon Inn of Court and has been a member of the Road Runner Akron Marathon Course Committee since the marathon’s inception. After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, Nick served in the U.S. Air Force and attained the rank of Captain. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Western New England College and his Juris Doctorate from The University of Akron School of Law.

Elected for her second term on the Executive Committee, Pat Gajda is the Chair of the Corporate and Securities group. Pat works primarily out of the Cleveland office and practices in the area of corporate transactions, joint ventures, general corporate counseling and securities. She has advised and consulted with both privately-held and publicly-traded clients. Pat is President of the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation, as well as a member of the American Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and Ohio State Bar Association. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University where she graduated magna cum laude, and earned her Juris Doctorate from the Case Western Reserve School of Law where she also graduated magna cum laude.
