Amanda Parker Selected as a 2016 '30 for the Future' Award Recipient

Brouse McDowell, a leading regional business law firm, is pleased to announce that Amanda Parker was named as one of the “30 for the Future” by the Greater Akron Chamber. 

Parker is an Associate in Brouse McDowell’s Litigation and Commercial Practice Groups where she assists with general business disputes, Bankruptcy & Commercial Law and Insurance Recovery matters. Parker assists in the representation of clients at all stages of litigation including filing the complaint, conducting discovery and negotiating settlements. She also conducts research and drafts memoranda, discovery documents, pleadings, correspondence, and motions.

Prior to joining Brouse, Amanda received the Moritz Corporate Fellowship, which places recent graduates in the general counsel's office of leading national corporations. Parker served as a fellow with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron. While there, she worked alongside in-house counsel on various matters including contract disputes, EEOC charges, and trademark protection strategies, in addition to participating in legal engineering conferences for ongoing products liability cases.

Parker earned her Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law and an MBA from The Ohio State University, Fisher Business College. Parker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University, magna cum laude.

Parker, a Goodyear Heights resident, enjoys yoga, volleyball and spending time with her son, Jackson.
