Biography
As a partner at Brouse McDowell, Anastasia is focusing her practice in the areas of intellectual property litigation, insurance litigation, general business litigation, appellate practice including tax appeals, and trademark and copyright prosecution.
She has worked on disputes involving internet advertising, software authorship, trademark and trade dress infringement, song ownership, patent infringement, class action certification, constitutional challenges to state taxation, false advertising, and insurance recovery for large claims. In addition to litigation, she also manages trademark and copyright applications and prosecutions for the firm and has advised clients on insurance coverage matters.

- Prevailed on appeal of dismissal based on lower court's misapplication of settlement agreement
- Reached a favorable resolution for client involved in shareholder and software authorship dispute
- Won a favorable summary judgment motion in client's favor on trademark counterfeiting
- Arbitrated a contract dispute between vendors as lead counsel
- Obtained a favorable settlement for client in a dispute over a union dues and employee benefits agreement
- Prevailed on a federal appeal of counterfeiting claim and further developed the area of counterfeiting law in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals
- Argued a tax appeal before the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals
