Craig Horbus Comments on Acquisition of Velvet Tango Room

The Velvet Tango Room in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood has sold to Ron Leonhardt Jr., the president and CEO of CrossCountry Mortgage of Brecksville. The 5,000 square-foot property sold to “2095 Columbus Road LLC” and included the business, the building and its contents.

Brouse McDowell attorney Craig Horbus represented the acquirer, Ron Leonhardt Jr., in the acquisition. Craig notes that “[T]he bar will remain as is with it speakeasy-like atmosphere, decorations and boozy high-end cocktails it has been known for since opening in 1996, along with the same staff.” He said the new owners plan to re-open next month.
