Biography
David's legal career represents a dynamic private practice that spans over 40 years. Upon shifting to inactive status at Brouse McDowell, he was the longest-tenured partner and was one of the longest-serving attorneys in the history of the firm. He was recognized for his expertise in general business law and commercial law. In particular, David advised clients in the area of corporate business planning, and represented parties in reorganization and insolvency proceedings under federal bankruptcy law. He has orchestrated many successful commercial and residential real estate development projects, including the development and sale of over 600 residential condominiums. For nearly a quarter of a century, David served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Valley Savings Bank, a locally owned and operated community bank with assets in excess of $130 million. He was instrumental in negotiating and structuring the definitive merger agreement by and between Valley Savings Bank and Westfield Bank resulting in a combined financial institution with total assets approaching $1 billion.
