Biography
Jamie is a member of Brouse McDowell’s Business Transactions & Corporate Counseling Practice Group. With over 30 years of experience, he focuses his practice in the core areas of securities, corporate governance and merger/acquisition work.
Jamie has counseled Weatherhead 100, Fortune 50, NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange companies in industries ranging from manufacturing to e-commerce. His extensive experience includes initial and secondary public offerings and private placements of securities, as well as tax exempt financings, and acquisitions and divestitures from $250,000 to $650 million. Jamie has also served as general counsel for securities and corporate advice for both public and private issuers.
In the municipal finance arena, Jamie has acted as bond counsel, issuer's counsel, underwriter's counsel and borrower's counsel in general obligation and revenue bond issues, including issuance by the State of Ohio, the Development Finance Authority of Summit County and the Akron, Bath and Copley Joint Hospital District.
