Biography
Jarman is an associate in the Cleveland Office. After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing, and Business Prelaw from the Ohio University College of Business, Jarman went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2020. In addition to Business Transactions & Counseling, Jarman's practice is focused on Cybersecurity & Privacy, as well as Trademark, Copyright and Trade Secrets law.
As a former Legal Intern with the Franklin County Municipal Court Jarman provided direct assistance to Judge Amy Salerno in courtroom proceedings, managed extensive and diverse dockets, briefed the Judge on important information regarding civil and criminal cases, and facilitated the fair and efficient resolution of matters by developing legal analyses containing sound recommendations to aid the Judge.
Jarman has extensive research experience, having served as a Research Assistant at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. While in this position, he conducted research regarding uniformity between federal and state rules of civil procedure, analyzed these rules regarding pleading standards and discovery, as well as researched employment law non-compete agreements for Ohio and Oklahoma.
He assisted a multitude of his fellow peers with their development as legal writers and practitioners and provided recommendations on how to improve the Legal Writing and Analysis Course for incoming students at the Ohio State University. His knowledge and marketing background allowed him to provide sound and strategic advice to students from other backgrounds outside of the College of Law such as business focused majors thus opening up his reach and experience for his future endeavors as a practicing attorney of law.
