Biography

Joe focuses his practice on litigation & information management, insurance coverage, and business litigation.

He is part of the national product liability discovery team that coordinates discovery nationally for a major manufacturer. Joe assists in developing discovery strategies; negotiating protective orders to protect confidential and trade secret information; drafting and reviewing of discovery motions, affidavits, and discovery responses; reviewing corporate testimony for confidentiality; and coordinating the production of responsive documents.

Joe’s insurance coverage experience includes analyzing insurance policies, litigating insurance coverage disputes, and assisting clients with the implementation of complex coverage in place agreements.

He also has experience handling business disputes and has represented individuals and companies in a variety of disputes, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, and misappropriation of trade secrets.

Before entering private practice, Joe was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Mark J. Dinsmore of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. In that role, he gained extensive experience in pre-trial discovery issues and federal jurisdictional issues.
