Biography

Kerri is the Co-Chair of the Labor & Employment Practice Group and a partner in the Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on assisting businesses with their employment and litigation/risk management needs. Kerri assists her clients with a wide variety of matters. She focuses on employment and benefits law, contractual disputes, business torts, and insurance recovery. Kerri has substantial and diverse experience, which makes her well-suited to resolve a variety of issues and disputes. When working with clients, Kerri takes a well-rounded approach to help her clients resolve their problems, while actively assisting them with strategies to avoid problems in the future.

Kerri often works as local counsel, assisting her clients and their lead counsel to ensure that they are informed of local customs, practices, and rules. She also ensures that they get the knowledge and support that they need to successfully prosecute or defend their case in Ohio courts.

Prior to joining Brouse McDowell, Kerri was a law clerk to the Honorable John R. Adams in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio from 2003 through 2007. Kerri is currently a member of the Northern District of Ohio Advisory Group, a court-appointed panel charged with providing information on matters of interest to the court, assisting in the implementation of court-adopted programs, and bringing to the court's attention matters of interest to the bar and the community.

She is also an active volunteer in various professional and community groups.
