Webinar: Brouse Hosts Webinar Panel on Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace

On October 5th, Brouse hosted a webinar panel on diversity & inclusion addressing leading women in the legal profession. Panelists discussed diversity and inclusion issues they have faced in the workplace and how the focus on diversity and inclusion is evolving in their organizations.




Panelists:


Raphael Richmond

Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, La-Z-Boy Incorporated

Raphael joined La-Z-Boy Incorporated in 2019 and is responsible for all legal matters for the company, including securities, compliance, litigation, employment, intellectual property, environmental, mergers and acquisitions, and contracts. She also serves as part of the senior leadership team, working closely with the Board of Directors on corporate governance and other matters.




Kendra Williams

Senior Manager, Assurance Services Group, Meaden & Moore

Kendra is a native of Dayton, Ohio and moved to Akron to attend the University of Akron, where she graduated with a degree in accounting. Over her 18 years with the firm, Kendra has worked directly with numerous privately held corporations and not-for-profit organizations performing both attestation and tax services. She is also a member of the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee, a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a licensed CPA.




Ebony Yeboah-Amankwah

Senior Executive with experience in Corporate Governance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Ebony is a Northeast Ohio native and senior executive with nearly 20 years of expertise in a highly-regulated environment, areas of corporate governance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and philosophy from Washington and Jefferson College and a law degree from Washington and Lee University. She currently serves on the Board of the United Way of Summit and Medina County, the Development of Finance Authority of Summit County, and the Business Volunteers Unlimited.
