Brouse McDowell’s Laura Fryan co-authored an article with attorney Joe Bucaro, addressing the vital role that nurse practitioner (NP) clinics play in meeting increasing patient care needs.  Many states now allow NPs to practice with or without a physician on site. American Nurse is a clinically and career-focused journal of the American Nurses Association (ANA). It is a peer-reviewed journal indexed in the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied HealthLiterature (CINAHL). CINAHL databases are the most widely-used and respected research tools for nurses, students and allied health professionals around the globe.
