Brouse McDowell Volunteers at the 2023 Akron Marathon

Brouse McDowell employees volunteered their time at the annual Akron Marathon supporting the participating runners. On Saturday, September 30, as runners made their way through the course, Brouse employees announced runner numbers, and handed out waters, finisher medals and cooling towels.

Brouse has participated in the Akron Marathon since its inception in 2003. In fact, the firm was a founding sponsor of the event. As the largest participatory sporting event, the Akron Marathon has been an integral event contributing to the spirit, health, quality of life and economic vitality of a community. Approximately 8,000 runners, 1,200 volunteers, and 100,000 spectators come out for this event every year, and the event raises more than $6 million annually for charitable organizations.
