Brendan J. Carney Associate

Brendan is an Associate in the Cleveland Office working within Brouse McDowell’s Real Estate Practice Group, as well as the Business Transactions and Corporate Counseling Practice Group. After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration, International Business, Brendan went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where he graduated magna cum laude in 2022.

Brendan has extensive legal writing and research experience, having served as a Legal Writing and Research Peer Tutor while enrolled at Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. While in this position, he assisted and mentored fellow students with their development as legal writers and practitioners.

Brendan lives on the west side of Cleveland. In the past he has volunteered with a number of organizations including the West Side Catholic Center and the Migration Refugee Services. He is an avid Cleveland sports fan and serves as a director on the Alumni Association for the Saint Ignatius High School Rugby program.
