Biography
Brian is an associate in our Akron office. His practice is focused on Business Transactions & Corporate Counseling, as well as Business Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Commercial Law. Brian draws on his background in accounting to counsel companies of all sizes through corporate transactions, commercial law, bankruptcy and tax matters.
He is a cum laude graduate of The University of Akron School of Law where he served as the secretary, vice president and president of the Jewish Law Students Association. Brian also provided legal and business assistance to small and emerging businesses through his participation in Akron Law’s Small Entrepreneur and Economic Development Clinic. He earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Constitutional Law and Seminar in Business Planning. Brian graduated with his bachelor’s in business administration in accounting from Ohio University.
He joined our firm in 2017 as a summer associate. Before joining Brouse McDowell, Brian served as a summer associate for Community Legal Aid in Akron in their Pro Bono Bankruptcy Project. There he interviewed prospective clients, researched and wrote about bankruptcy topics, and drafted client communications to creditors.
Brian is an avid Cleveland sports fan, and enjoys watching the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers.
