Brouse McDowell Welcomes 4 Attorneys to the Firm

Brouse McDowell, a leading regional business law firm is proud to announce that James T. Dixon, Amanda P. Parker, Laura F. Fryan and Kyle A. Shelton recently joined the firm.

Dixon joined the firm as a partner in the Cleveland office.  He focuses his practice on construction law where he drafts and negotiates construction contracts, advises clients during the course of construction, and resolves disputes through mediation, arbitration and litigation. He is a member of the firm’s litigation and real estate practice groups. He has an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale Hubbell.

Dixon is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and Denison University. He is a member of the Home Builder’s Association of Greater Cleveland and sits on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, and The Citizens League of Greater Cleveland.

Parker joined the firm as an associate in the litigation practice group in the Akron office. She previously worked at Goodyear as a legal fellow from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University. Parker is currently admitted to practice in New York.

Fryan and Shelton joined the firm as law clerks earlier this year and recently passed the Ohio Bar exam to practice law. Both Fryan and Shelton previously worked at the firm as summer associates. Shelton, who is a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, will focus his practice on litigation and Fryan, a University of Akron College of Law graduate, will practice litigation and health care law.
