Marguerite Zinz Presents CLE Webinar, "Duty to Preserve and the Legal Hold Process"

Brouse McDowell Partner Marguerite E. Zinz recently presented a webinar “Duty to Preserve and the Legal Hold Process” for the American Law Institute with co-presenter Kimberly Todd.

In this CLE program, Kim and Marguerite provided an overview of the common law duty to preserve evidence including when the duty to preserve is attached, and what should be preserved. They also discussed the process of developing and implementing a legal hold such as what a legal hold is, when a legal hold should be issued, how a hold is implemented, counsel’s role and the consequences of non-compliance.
