Biography
Matthew is a partner in Brouse McDowell’s Litigation, Business Transactions & Corporate Counseling, and Business Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Commercial Law practice groups. His experience includes all aspects of the litigation process - from discovery, mediation and alternative dispute resolution, to dispositive motion practice, jury and bench trials, and appeals. He has orally argued appeals before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and various Ohio appellate courts and was the first attorney to virtually argue a case before the Ohio Supreme Court during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He represents individuals, businesses, and public sector entities on a wide range of issues, including business law, appeals, local government law, land use law, collections, bankruptcy, and general civil litigation.
