Brouse McDowell Provides Opportunities Through Youngstown State University's Sokolov Honors College

Youngstown partner Matthew Vansuch is featured, along with current and former Youngstown clerks Alexis Blessing, Brock Tegtmeier, and Vincent DeSanto, in Youngstown State University’s Sokolov Honors College With Honors Magazine. The article titled Honors Opens Doors to Students Through Alumni Connections, highlights the lasting and ongoing connections made through Youngstown State University’s Sokolov Honors College.

Matthew, a 2002 Youngstown State graduate and member of the University’s Scholars program, expressed his—­along with his fellow Youngstown partners—investment in the future of the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys, and a desire to present opportunities to the current students in the University’s honors program. He said “We want our young adults to see this area as the vibrant community with abundant economic opportunity that it is, where they can develop themselves, their careers, and their families. All of us can do that by providing our current students opportunities with us.”
